Our clients are ambitious, high-impact CEOs, founders, and execs. They’ve joined Athena in search of leverage, impact, success, and time via their relationship with their top 1% Philippines-based Executive Assistant. They are world-class humans who want to become world-class at delegation.
High-Level Responsibilities
You will lead growth at Athena, including:
Testing: We have dozens of promising ideas for driving sustainable client growth at Athena. You will expand on this list of ideas, prioritize the most promising, and execute multiple concurrent tests.
Scaling: Today Athena grows exclusively through referrals and word-of-mouth. You will help scale referrals. You will also scale the successful tests you run.
Reporting: You will measure and report out on new client growth so we can track our progress and forecast demand to hit our goals. Forecasting well is particularly important to manage the pipeline of new EAs graduating from Athena Academy.
Optimizing: You will optimize existing channels for conversion rate, LTV, and CAC.
Leading: You will lead a team to support client growth across multiple channels, from scrappy growth ideas to a referral machine to enterprise sales. Working hard and doing scrappy things at large scale and low cost is our company DNA – to be successful you will need to match that.
Example Work
Referrals: We already get lots of referrals organically. You will work to supercharge the referral process.
Partnerships: We have lots of ideas of companies and organizations we could partner with. You will build out a list and prioritize the most promising.
Direct marketing: Many clients just need to receive a personalized, timely message from us. You will test various outreach methods and scale the ones that work best.
Enterprise: You will develop the (not yet launched) enterprise and platform offerings, and will coordinate with the client and sales teams who will do the actual outreach.
Supply: Your efforts will focus exclusively on the client/demand side of the business but you will be an advisor to other teams’ efforts to scale EA applications. Athena currently vets 20,000 (!) EA applicants per month. You will help other teams 10x this in the decade ahead.
Your Metrics
You will own the most important top-of-funnel metrics for the company: leads (MQL), calls (SQLs), Deals (CWD), Cost (CaC)
Your sub-metrics will include waitlist conversion rate and client CAC
About You
You are more scrappy, creative, and aggressive than everyone around you
You get great joy from hacking systems and creating creative growth mechanisms
Thinking about how to automatically messages millions of people on X, in a personalized and scalable way, gets you excited
You have gone zero-to-1 on many channels, including at least one of the channels we want to test and scale (referrals, direct marketing, partnerships, etc)
You have scaled both scrappy and traditional growth channels to meaningful size
Over time you will build a team of other scrappy, aggressive growth marketers who you will recruit and lead
