Frontend Software Engineer - SF

At Comulate, we’re transforming how $7T of insurance premiums are transacted across the globe. Our first platform automates highly painful manual accounting workflows while providing robust new revenue intelligence that helps customers identify and recover missing revenue.

We’ve caught our customers’ attention: we hit $100K ARR six months after writing the first line of code, surpassed $1M ARR six months later, and have multiplied a few times since then. Despite being a small team tackling decades-old problems, we’re already delivering serious ROI for logos typically not sold into until Series C/D stage. Our product roots, problem space obsession, and the deep pain and financial cost of the status quo, have primed us for continued explosive growth.

We’re hiring a frontend engineer to join us onsite in San Francisco. You’ll build delightful user interfaces to solve massive problem for our customers. Since we’re building a new category of software, you’ll bring to life entirely new design patterns (not just another to-do list). An easy-to-use UI is an important and differentiated value prop of our product — our customers are accustomed to dated Windows-only desktop apps. As an early employee, you’ll also contribute heavily to building the company’s team and culture.

Comulate was founded by Jordan Katz and Michael Mattheakis. Jordan (CEO) joined Asana after its Series C, working as a product manager on several teams through IPO, before joining Pathlight as its first product hire. Michael, after summer stints at Google and Facebook, joined Brex as its 10th hire, helping scale its platform and engineering team over nearly 4 years. We raised a $4M seed round in August 2022, led by Natalie Sandman of Spark Capital, joined by founders/execs from Brex, Asana, Plaid, Coalition, Vouch, Applied Intuition, and dozens of top insurance founders and operators. With revenue in the seven-figures, large companies already using the product, and strong demand, we’re growing a lean, high horsepower team exicted to build category-defining, breakout company. We’re hiring in San Francisco: we believe in-person collaboration is strategically important for a company at our stage — both for velocity and company culture.
