Pair Team is on a mission to connect underserved communities to high quality care as a tech-enabled medical group focused on high-risk Medicaid and Duals patients. Their novel whole-person care model - social, clinical, behavioral - is quarterbacked by a multidisciplinary care team across their network of shelters, food pantries, and other community partners leveraging Arc, their proprietary care management platform. Pair Team is one of the largest providers of a high-needs case management benefit in California and on track to build the country's largest clinically-integrated network of community-based organizations. They have demonstrated an ability to engage a hard to reach patient population and address gaps in care, including a 56% reduction in ED visits and a 26% reduction in hospital admissions.

About the Opportunity

As our founding Technical Recruiter at Pair Team, you will play a critical role in growing the team that builds our technology. You will own the end-to-end hiring processes for all technical positions: by attracting, engaging, and hiring top-tier engineering, product, design, and data talent. You will partner closely with hiring managers to build an efficient recruiting process, enhance our employer brand, and create a seamless candidate experience. We plan to heavily invest in our internal tool, Arc, in 2025 and are excited to hire a recruiter that thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment to support its development.

This is a fully remote position reporting up to the VP of People.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for Product and Engineering with the support of a Recruiting Coordinator
  • Partner with tech leadership to build and build and drive our tech recruiting strategy
  • Attract, source, and screen applicants using a variety of innovative techniques
  • Build and maintain a strong network of technical professionals through outreach efforts and partnerships
  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates for technical and cultural fit
  • Manage a high volume of candidates while ensuring a high-quality candidate experience
  • Track deadlines, working collaboratively with your hiring partners to ensure that hiring goals are met on time
  • Sell Pair Team's story, growth trajectory, business priorities, and culture like a pro
  • Utilize ATS and data-driven insights to optimize recruitment efforts
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in technical hiring

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience with at least 3 years of technical recruiting experience in a high-volume or high-growth startup environment (healthtech and prior founding technical recruiter exp experience a plus!)
  • Proven track record of successfully hiring for engineering, data, and product management teams.
  • Experience building out technical recruiting strategy at a scaling organization.
  • A strong network of technical talent that you can draw from and continue to cultivate.
  • Experience with Google Suite and an Applicant Tracking System, preferably Greenhouse
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and closing
  • A deep understanding of how to navigate sourcing tools and social media networks to find candidates
  • Awareness of pertinent employment legislation and employment market trends
  • Strong work ethic and sense of personal accountability – own driving results for the mission, business, and candidate experience
  • Organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
  • Passion for helping individuals experiencing complex chronic needs such as homelessness, severe mental illness, and substance use disorder
