Rappi is looking for a dynamic and highly analytical Head of SP&A Retail to lead high-impact, cross-functional strategic initiatives. This pivotal role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, operations, and policy, driving critical projects that shape the future of our business.

This role is ideal for someone with a consulting or strategy background who thrives in data-driven environments and wants to be hands-on in shaping the performance, growth, and profitability of a leading marketplace and last-mile platform.

You will be responsible for structuring complex problems, developing data-driven insights, leading project execution, and providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership. The ideal candidate is a natural problem-solver, thrives in a fast-paced project-based environment, and excels at translating analysis into actionable strategies that deliver tangible results.

As part of Rappi, you will be responsible for:

  • Lead and manage complex analytical and strategic projects across the Retail vertical — from diagnosing growth and profitability issues to designing scalable improvement plans.

  • Build and maintain financial and business models to simulate scenarios, evaluate initiatives, and measure ROI of commercial and operational levers.

  • Conduct deep-dive analyses using SQL and BI tools to extract insights from large datasets and translate them into clear business narratives.

  • Partner with Commercial, Operations, Product, Finance, and Country Teams to identify drivers of performance and define data-backed action plans.

  • Support strategic planning cycles (monthly, quarterly, annual) highlighting key trends, deviations, and improvement opportunities by country, sub-vertical, and retailer.

  • Provide competitive intelligence and market benchmarks to support the definition of the long-term Retail strategy.

  • Prepare executive-level presentations summarizing insights and recommendations for leadership decision-making.

Good and now, what are the requirements for me to be part of this neon universe?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy, or SP&A roles — ideally in marketplaces, last-mile, or fast-paced startups.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to structure ambiguous challenges into actionable frameworks.

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel / Google Sheets for business modeling.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex analyses into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.

  • Fluent in English and Spanish

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and constantly evolving environment.
