Location: Remote, unless you are within a 45 minute commute distance to one of our BDA office locations
The Big Picture:
The CX Logistics Specialist sits at the intersection of logistics, operations, and customer experience. This role will ensure that the customer shipment process is smooth while keeping clients informed of shipment progress. They will anticipate and address how delivery decisions impact the customer experience. Given the close ties of a successful delivery to the customer satisfaction, this role will have meaningful visibility in the company. In addition, the role will involve collaboration with many departments - most notably with CX, Warehouse Operations, and Sales. Logistics experience and strong customer communication skills are essential to this position.
The Day-to-Day:
- Work daily with CX and Logistics teams to understand the objectives and challenges of both departments
- Partner with CX and Logistics teams to investigate shipping-related customer issues and present solutions from the customer perspective
- Anticipate customer pain points in international shipping (duties, customs, delays) and work to streamline processes and communications
- Communicate directly with couriers and customers to facilitate the progress of shipments to their destinations
- Break it down: Translate logistics complexities into clear, customer-friendly explanations when needed
The Right Person for the job has:
- Ability to translate technical or regulatory logistics details into simple, empathetic communication for customers
- Track record of solving complex international shipping problems
- Collaborative mindset; works closely with CX, sales to deliver better experiences
- Curiosity: Not only asks “did the package ship/arrive on time?” but also “how was the customer experience for this shipment?”
- Ability to identify potential shipment friction points and proactively communicate with carriers, customers, and team members to prevent them
Preferred Education & Experience:
- 2+ Years experience in international shipping and logistics

We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $60,000. If you are hired at BDA, your compensation will be determined based on factors that may include geographic location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any offer. In the spirit of pay transparency, the range listed is the full base salary range for the role and hiring at the top of the range would not be typical, in order to allow for future salary growth. The range listed is just one component of BDA’s total compensation and rewards programs, which includes: robust PTO; vacation, a paid volunteer day, holidays and summer Fridays, Benefits; medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, 401k; tuition reimbursement, mental health and financial wellness programs and professional development opportunities including tuition reimbursement. Certain revenue-generating positions may be eligible for incentive compensation.
