About the Role
We're looking for an exceptional Strategic Finance Lead to join our leadership team as a right-hand partner to our Head of Finance and CEO. In this critical role, you'll help drive our next phase of growth by supporting strategic decision-making, leading key financial initiatives, and ensuring our financial foundation enables sustainable growth. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on our company's trajectory while working directly with senior leadership.
Responsibilities
Partner closely with the Head of Finance and CEO to drive strategic financial planning and decision-making
Support the development and execution of financial strategy, resource allocation, and growth initiatives, especially across GTM and Operations
Lead sophisticated financial modeling and analysis to evaluate business decisions, product initiatives, and growth opportunities
Build and implement scalable financial systems and processes that enable real-time decision-making without slowing execution
Drive financial discipline across the organization, ensuring accuracy in all financial data and operations
Proactively identify risks and opportunities 6-12 months ahead, providing strategic recommendations to leadership
Support fundraising efforts across equity, debt, and alternative financing options
Prepare and present financial analyses and recommendations for the board, investors, and executive team
Track and optimize key marketplace metrics including revenue retention, profitability margins, and unit economics
Monitor and ensure compliance with all financial covenants and regulatory requirements
What You’ll Need
7+ years of finance experience in high-growth environments
Outstanding financial modeling and analytical capabilities
Deep understanding of marketplace business models and operational metrics
Experience supporting fundraising and capital structure optimization
Strong executive presence and communication skills
Track record of building and scaling finance processes
Exceptional work ethic and bias toward action
Relentless attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Proactive mindset with strong business judgment
Direct communication style with ability to drive results through influence
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with startup hours
